Ed Gehres draws on nearly three decades of experience in litigation and regulatory strategy where he has always held himself to the highest ethical standards. In 2022, Ed founded Invenio LLP to lead legislative efforts shaping the litigation finance industry. Prior to that, his litigation career included roles at Arnold & Porter and Patton Boggs, where he represented a multitude of plaintiffs as well as corporate defendants. Ed is based in, and practices law in, Washington, D.C. and is also a member of the State Bar of Arizona.

Michael Pope has decades of experience in the financial sector where he has always lived by the code ‘your word is your bond.’ He was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs before being Co-Head of Litigation Finance at Jefferies. Now Michael is also the Founder and Managing Member of Cluny Advisors LLC. With his deep knowledge of the litigation financing market, Michael brings capital partners and law firms together to ensure justice for workers and families who have been victimized by negligent and harmful corporations.

Pat Shannon has more than a decade of experience in litigation finance and operations. Prior to APS, Pat founded Equine Capital Solutions, LLC where he partnered with an asset manager with one of the longest histories in mass tort and personal injury financing dating back to the 1990’s. Prior to founding Equine, Pat served as Chief Operating Officer of Mustang Litigation Funding, a lawsuit funder with extensive experience in mass torts and single event cases.

Greg is a senior finance and legal executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across asset management, financial services, and technology companies. He has served as General Counsel of two public technology companies and as Deputy General Counsel of two financial institutions. Greg spent more than 11 years at Fortress Investment Group, where he served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Deputy General Counsel of the credit funds. He also established its Government Relations Office and has successfully advanced and defeated legislation at both federal and state levels.
